During our recent family trip to Bucharest, Romania, we had the pleasure of staying at MyHotelApartments, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. In this honest review, I'll share my personal experiences and thoughts about MyHotelApartments, highlighting the aspects that made my stay in Bucharest truly memorable.

First Impression

From the moment we arrived at My Hotel Apartments, we knew we had made the right choice. My first word upon entering the apartment was "WOW." It was certainly impressive, just like in the photos. Cristina was there to meet us and welcomed us with genuine warmth despite the late hour.

The Apartment

MyHotelApartments has a variety of accommodation offerings, including single and double rooms as well as one, two or three bedroom apartments. We stayed in the Business 3 bedroom apartment which was perfect for my family. Upon entering the apartment, I was struck by the clean, contemporary design and the ample space it offered. It's 120 sqm! MyHotelApartments truly lived up to its name, providing a fully equipped and functional living space that felt like a genuine home away from home. The kitchenette was somewhat on the small side, but well-stocked with all the essential utensils and appliances.

Location

MyHotelApartments boasts an ideal location in Bucharest, placing guests within walking distance of numerous attractions and public transportation. The nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops made it convenient to explore the city's culinary and shopping delights. Moreover, the hotel's central location allowed us to easily reach iconic landmarks like the Palace of the Parliament and Old Town Bucharest. Within a 5 minute walk from the apartment was the picturesque Lake Herastrau and we thoroughly enjoyed walking alongside it.

Comfort and Amenities

Our apartment was well-appointed with modern amenities to cater to all our needs. The beds were very comfortable and ensured a restful sleep each night. The air conditioning kept the space pleasantly cool during the unusually high temperatures whilst we were there. There were 2 spacious bathrooms. One had a bath / shower and the other had a shower with all sorts of buttons, including one which played music! Additionally, the in-room washing machine was a thoughtful touch, especially for longer visits or travelers like us who prefer to pack light. The apartment came with a selection of premium toiletries and slippers, which added a luxurious touch to our stay.The complimentary Wi-Fi was reliable and gave no problems.

Service

One of the standout aspects of MyHotelApartments was the exceptional service provided by Cristina. She was always attentive, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our requests. For example, after the first breakfast we requested to have more joghurts and muesli and less meat for the following days, which she happily arranged for us. She was eager to help us when we seeked recommendations for local experiences.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the apartment. The way it works is that the refrigerator is stocked with tons (and I mean tons) of meat and dairy products, fruits and bread. And at around 8am we were brought hot croissants and fresh orange juice. The dining table was large and already neatly laid out with all the plates and cutlery when we arrived. There was so much food that we had enough left over to prepare sandwiches for our lunch! The door in the dingroom leads out to a terrace with table and chairs where we enjoyed a few relaxing breakfasts.

Conclusion

MyHotelApartments in Bucharest exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The cozy and well-equipped apartment, coupled with the excellent service and prime location, provided a fantastic base for our exploration of this captivating city. Whether you're visiting Bucharest for business or leisure, MyHotelApartments offers an inviting and comfortable retreat that will make your stay truly enjoyable. I can confidently say that my experience at MyHotelApartments added an extra layer of charm to my trip to Bucharest, and I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay there again in the future.
